Colonial Williamsburg on the 4th!

We picked a great day to travel back in time! After touring the
colonial town all day, we were treated to one of the most beautiful
fireworks displays any of us had ever seen. They were followed by a
torch parade featuring fifes and drums-here us a shot of the parade as
we marched beside it.

Earlier in the day we saw an up close demonstration of the fifes and
drums, and Zach was able to do a roll on an 18th Century drum!

  1. Thanks for posting these. You're a little behind this year! It looks like Williamsburg was great, and the baseball game had to be fabulous. It was the same kind of thing when I saw them play in Baltimore - they were losing, and as we walked out we heard the crowd cheer for the home run that won them the game. Not their greatest comeback ever, but a good one, nonetheless. All is well in AK. We're almost to the point of complaining about the heat, but not quite. :) --K
